I think it is juas amazing that we as people can make cars like this. If i had a extra 2 mill I would have one.

I'm really not a fan of the bugatti, how many places can you go over 200mph safely? I'd rather buy a ZR-1 or Ford GT and have some awesome fun on the street or strip.

eh I find a road coarse to be way more fun then a quarter mile any day of the week. Personal preference I guess.

The aforementioned ZR-1, GT, or even EB110SS would be way more fun to drive on a road course than a Veyron.

I was shocked how much smaller the Veyron is in person compared to how disproportionately large it looks in photo's. Though the novelty of it wore off after I saw it a few times, mainly because its such an ugly car. Engineering wonder? Yeah. Pretty? Not so much. The one at the dealership next to campus had a little fender bender a while back when a customer backed it into another car on the street. It was the terrible cream and blue two tone colored model, extra hideous.

The Stig set Top Gear's track record with a Veyron SS. Over two tons and it still trounced every other car they've tested. 1200hp. STOCK. I like the Ford GT also but it was fairly well modded to reach that power level. The Veyron is a stock car with a warranty. Just imagine what could be done with just exhaust, fuel and a boost controller. Basic BPU upgrades and you'd probably be over 1400hp and starting to approach the magic 300 mph number. Say what you want about the Veyron, it is fucking BADASS. If I ever hit one of those $100+ million Powerball jackpots I will have an all black one in my garage. (Along with a bunch of other cars I've always dreamed of owning but can't afford...)

I don't think the warranty argument works when you could probably buy and build several of those Ford GTs tor the price of the Bugatti.

Actually the Ariel Atom 500 is faster around the top gear track than the Veyron, even the super sport. Although it the Bugatti's defense the Atom isn't even close in comfort or practicality. The Bugatti is definitely a bad ass car. :thumbsup
