Looking for a new desktop. Looking for atleast a dual core system with a decent video card and memory to do decent gaming. Let me know what you have and how much.

How much do you want to spend? I could build a brand new system for relatively cheap that would be able to play most games.

$200 or less for the tower, if the price is right I don't need a decent video card right away either as long as it has a decent board, memory and CPU no OS is also fine

I have a subpar gaming rig laying around thats a dual core. But 200 is a bit low.

I have that in the memory/GPU alone. Not including the processor,
mainboard, case, HDD, DVD burner or the OS.

Not really, seeing how I can get an amd phenom x4 system brand new with warranty for about 300 with no OS and on board video, if I wasn't impatient id just wait a bit longer and get that.

What kind of gaming are you looking to do? Modern games will not run well on a sub-par system. If I were you, I would hold out for the quad core and be prepared to spend a little more money than you are planning now.

A complete phenom X4 system for under 300? Is this being built with old, out dated, discontinued parts? I'm sure it could be done but its probably using majorly subpar parts.

It's on pricewatch.com under systems with no OS there is plenty to choose from and they give u the option to upgrade parts on the system for a little extra
