I owned this car when I was a Wankel fanatic in the late 80's. It had the
13B two rotor engine, 5 speed, and 4 wheel disc. Fun car.

Gorgeous car! Cars of the late 70's had a style all their own...

be neat to see a car like that with a modern twin turbo rotary...or maybe an NA one from the RX8/manual trans...

Nice car.

Maybe I've been spending to much time on speedhunters.com but I really am digging vintage Japanese cars. Light cars with rear wheel drive begging for a motor swap/turbo build.

Why does this car remind me so much of those 1976 Mustangs (or whatever year that odd thing was)?

Better be a 20B, 13B might be easier to source but where's the soul?

Bridge port 20B, with the hair dryers. The noise would be awesome.

Ever since I drove my friend's AE86 ('80's Corolla) I've been in love with the small vintage Japanese RWD cars.

That thing is sweet. Don't see many around anymore!

If your referring to ae86's, you should visit Puerto Rico, those things are everywhere there.

I love old school Japanese cars. Just something about them. I'd love to restore a 70's Celica someday.

If you guys are fans here is a really awesome site that sells classic Japanese cars here int he states.

makes me miss by Turbo II. I got that car for a steal, but couldn't keep it out of practicality being 18 at the time, and it was my daily. Sold it for a profit but do miss the fun of that car ALOT.

Sweet! I'm still drooling over that red Celica that they sold... too bad there's not more pics of it.

I sold it because I bought a boat and had too many toys. I also had the 67 Camaro too. Add to that a wife and a house. I still have a weakness for the 93 -95 RX7s.
Before this car, I had an RX4 and ended up stuffing an orange smallblock under the hood. That car was even more fun. Powerglide trans, Vega rear axle, and a 76 Monte driveshaft.

That's exactly the look I want to go for with the RX7, without the stickers.

Very cool... Still sitting on a 13B-REW in the back of the garage.
