What kind of modem does time warner have you guys using? Charter (which is similiar) just did a bunch of upgrades and it creates issues with the older grey motorola modems. Of course they don't say anything until you finally can't take the intermit net going in and out. Got a new tiny black modem and its faster than ever.

The gray ones are Motorola 4100's, they are perfectly capable of everything except for turbo with TW.

I was having some issues with mine being slow the last 2 days..Only noticed it playing COD on ps3. I was getting like 8 megs DL speed and like 600 plus ping. Today its at 30 ping and 16-17 megs.

Better yet, get ATT DSL. I used to use TW Roadrunner for years with many many problems with their service going out. I finally had enough and went to ATT. I have NEVER had a problem since it was installed. And for 1/2 the price to boot. :headbang

I've had time warner here in Plymouth for over 4 years and there was only 1 time the cable was out. I have been very happy with TW. I had a string of bad boxes though awhile back. I went through 4 in about a month. The 2 I have now have been great for about 5 months. I'm glad there is a TW office here in town so it's easy to exchange them.

This was the only time it went down and it was a line issue. I am happy with my roadrunner.
