I took a few pics at the shop this weekend. We're in the process of fitting our new Toyota body to the chassis. This was Jeff Arends DHL body that got tore up when Robert Hight got into the side of Arend in Carolina.

I was never a fan of the Toyota body, but it grew on me after staring at it for 30 hours last weekend.

This is Alex from Waukesha, he's a BCM member

Alex and I spent 12 hours fitting and mounting the rear wing. It had never been mounted on this body before so we had to start from scratch.

Looks good

Swoopy front nose on this thing, way different than our Impala body

It still needs a lot of work but we'll have it ready for the first race of the season in Feb.

I'm guessing the H is there because Fischer Honda is a sponsor of Kalitta motorsports. Yeah I don't get it either.

Looks sick, had to double take at the honda front badge twice too.

With new paint and stickers, it could be a Chevy

So is there anything remotely Honda/Toyota about that car? (Aisin parts don't count)
What kind of drivetrain setup?

They actually mold the shape of the headlights and taillights onto the body. That's the only thing that resembles anything Toyota on the car, the rest of the shape is all aero engineering.

Everything on the chassis/drivetrain stays the same, all American stuff.

I would have recognized that DHL backed body if you had'nt said it! Pretty aerodynamic swoop to it, wing looks great too. Carbon over aluminum on the end caps?

Yes that yellow color just screams DHL lol.
I like the swoopy shape too.

The wing's not carbon over aluminum, just carbon and aluminum.
