For the price of that you could prolly buy a clapped out 5.0 and get a factory harness and ecm, them part the car out and get your money back.

The problem with that is 20+year old wiring and connectors

That is one way to do it. Was going to go that route with my '65 Mustang. Looks to be a solid kit. Very easy to setup. But they don't say anything about boost for later on.

I would do that before going with a hacked up factory stock wiring harness. And there isn't any good harness out there anymore.

Yeah I sent them a message asking about Forced Induction later on.
Waiting for response. I would imagine low boost levels 5-7psi would be ok.
The ECU adjust the A/F to your settings, just don't know how fast it can respond. Could always go old school and use a FMU ??

That was the main reason I wanted to convert so I could turbo the car.

And doing it with that harness looks cheap at first. But by the time you put together all the parts and then the need to get a tune probably close to the same. And any time you make a change a new tune is needed.

with the EZ efi it sekf tunes...

Another budget solution might be Megasquirt, definitely more intensive in terms of you having to source more parts but lots of people run it both NA and FI have decent results with it.
Quick google search turned up this http://www.302w.com/Windsor_MegaSquirt_Introduction.aspx
