I hated U.S. Bank before, but now they really suck!! Hope they don't have to lay anyone off due to this.

What do we pay to see the fire works? Oh yea, nothing. So if the sponsor finds a place to get them cheaper then I see no big deal.

Now on the other hand, if we paid to see them, and the price just went up and to add to that the sponsor went with a cheaper place to get the fireworks I might raise an eyebrow.

I will say, that it might be nice to see something different. I see other places fireworks and see the different shells and effects they use and wish Bartolotta would think outside the norm a bit more. Their show, which is well done, just seems to be very much the same every year.

You can have an awesome fireworks show without the bartolottas. I'm not too worried.

I dont think Doyle or Walker had anything to do with this. Like any business decision it boils down to how much you pay and what you get. Bartolotta said they will be back in 2012.

Bartolatta is pretty behind on the times as far as fireworks goes. There is so much cool product out there that they aren't using. It will make them step up their game a bit. Nothing like some competition.

If you buy your Aftermarket parts from Summit or Jegs, instead of of Fast Times or C and S, does that make you bad too?

Bartolotta's were way over rated. I don't give a crap.

I agree that competition is good for companies. There are other good companies out there like Speilbauer and Melrose for example. However, Bartalotta is the only company out of those that has a Million dollar insurance policy already set in the contract. If you wanted a higher amount you wouod then pay a little more for the additional coverage. The other companies do not. They only have a 500,000 dollar limit to thempayable in addition to the regular contract. Any more coverage than that an outside insurance adjuster would have to be brought in. If god forbid somthing would go wrong. a million will go a lot further for medical care for the public than 500,000. This is at least how it was when I was soliciting bids for the fireworks display in Hales Corners in years past. I know alot can change from year to year.

I understand wanting to try something new, what I have a problem with is that after a 30 year run they notified Bartalotta's with an e-mail.

I could understand going to Iowa if we were asking for a display of cow crap smell,(since the last time I was there that seemed to be what the whole state smelled like), but for fireworks I think we should've stayed in state.

You can look at this so many different ways really....

Every year honestly does seem the same, random stars and booms then the grand finally is so Fucking cluttered in smoke you don't get a good view of whats blowing up unless you have a nice 10 MPH wind.

30 years is a good stretch but what if this year comes and the fireworks are " FUCKING AWESOME !!! "

Might make you think What were they paying for all along, or this year could be a Total Bust and my $5 bottle rockets look better...

Fireworks are free for all to watch just sit back and enjoy whats FREE !!!
