Another reason to get your dogs neutered/spayed.

I hope they find good homes.

GSRAW is a great local German shepherd rescue, they should be able to help place the shepherds

We recently lost our dog and my father is looking for a chill, trained dog. Maybe a few years old. like a lab or something close to it and is good with children. A perfect dog would be one who loves to eat sleep b lazy and have lots of love, If anyone hears anything please PM me.

Wait, there's labs that are lazy and sleepy? :rolf

About 6 months from now I'd prolly take you up on one of these pups but I can't do it right now. Hope they find good homes.

Wish the wife would let me get another dog. 1 GSD is already a handful.

+1 Do they cover vet bills when you foster? I will be looking it to it more but I may be looking at more medical problem prone breeds and this is my top question. I know there are some programs for getting them spayed and neutered while in foster but what about reg. surgeries/check-ups

To part of the questions re: vet care...Spoke with her and she replied "Our adoption fee is $275 for puppies and that includes the vet exam, spay/neuter, shots, microchip, etc. The lab puppies will be at the Petsmart in Hoffman Estates, IL (Higgins and Rt 59) this Saturday from 12-2pm at our adoption event."

The adoption fee is a steal. I think it was $400 for just the spay for Gracie.

400 for a spay is a rip off, madacc does them for 75 bucks all day long

All these puppies are spoken for, only the 4 that scotties friend has will be at the petsmart the rest are gone. Our rescue didn't get ahold of any of them.

Dave, most foster programs cover all expenses including food, toys, vet bills etc. For anyone interested in fostering, contact JRs pups n stuff. Great program to get involved with, and all expenses paid for.

Thanks, Thats what I needed to know. I will be giving them a call this summer after I get my yard fenced in and some other household items updated.
