That is not that strange. It does snow in Hawaii on occasion. Kea means white in Hawaiian. Hau is the word for snow. Popohau is snowflake. Mauna Kea is 13,000 ft. Mahalo ohana

We spent time in Maui back in 03 and went up to the top of Haleakalā . Was a lot of snow up there. Beautiful place to see the sun rise.
