Well just like the title says the Buick had it's last hurrah Friday night. Here are some really crappy low quality pics. It was a great car and it was actually harder to watch this than I expected :crying . Oh well at least it went out fighting!

hey what derby is that at im runnin my 79 delta tomm at lake county fair in IL what place did the car take if any thats the best way to makem' die :goof

This was at the Ozaukee county fair on Friday night. The car was in heat #3 mid-size car class. There were about 18 cars total and the car died about half way through. She had a pretty good run goin there for awhile though. I'm gonna try and get down there tomorrow before the scrap dealers pick it up and get some piccy's.

cool i ran my delta yesterday at lake county fair and i won a heat with it and also got like 8th in the feature out of 24cars

Ya not too sure why they put it in that class. The car was scheduled to be in mid-size sedan class but there were a bunch of caprice classic wagon and such in this one. Must have been overflow or something because the class that came to the line next was all mid-size fwd cars. Oh well too late now!

HA! The Buick's 15min of fame is being extended! The guy who bought the car let some kids paint it I guess and it's pictured in the Ozaukee Press newspaper! I gotta go find one. If anyone else sees it please make a scan and send it to me!!!
