View Full Version : Trans removal for Blazer (s-10)

I haven't looked at it yet, but was asked, and figured I'd ask here...

Kids at the high school are apparently having a tough time removing the top 4 bolts from the bellhousing to the block...

any trick to this? Could the drop the trans mount to get a better angle? Is it just better to go at it from the top with an open end wrench?

3ft extension and swivel sockets are what we would use, drop the trans mount like you said to get a better angle.

And after it's out, pound the firewall lip flat to facilitate easier instalation.
