It was working great this morning and then this evening I turned it on to see a flash and the tube went black. Noticed I said tube and not pixels.

I need advice quick on what is the best TV to buy within a $700 price limit.

Thanks, I really dont want to go to a bar to watch the football game this Sunday.

On my second Samsung plasma, picture is fantastic. My kid just got an LG/ LED, realy nice and know it was around $600. There are some long TV threads, need to change option at bottom to "from the begining".

I bought a Haier 32" HDTV LCD 1080p from Ultimate Electronics for $278 plus tax. It was on sale for this price. I really love this TV and it was a great price. Great picture quality and tons of features. Good luck with your shopping.

In todays market you should be able to get a pretty decent 40"+ tv for around that price. To bad it didn't happen sooner with all the black Friday and xmas sales. There still may be some out there.

Yeah its just my flippin luck that it happened today. But it is 8 years old so I guess it lived a full life.

Looks like a trip to Flanners, Best Buy and anyone else that sells TV's.

I knew Colders purchased them, but I thought it was just the inventory, customer list, ect ect. Didn't know they reopened the store.

Real question is did they hire competent salesmen/women that know what they are talking about.

All fixed, bought a new one last night. I am still working out the bugs on it. Some of the concerns are with my Pronto Pro Remote. New TV, old remote. lol
