I've been wanting to get this done for years so I figured I would finally start asking about it. Who does this and is it super expensive to have done? I'm talking a new fuse block and also some other little extra things but I basically want my whole car rewired and the wires hidden in the bay. I don't have the patience for car wiring or I would do it myself.

There is a guy off of S. 6th st around howard ave that does this. I forgot his name but he did a bunch of work for my dads buddy and he is very good. I think his shop is on the street next to golden chicken and then take that street west

Mark...I installed an American Autowire harness in my car after the "mishap" I had the summer before last. Beautiful harness! The lengths were on the money, the connectors were all exactly like the factory harness etc. I really was impressed. They make every harness for the car including the bulkhead, lamps etc. They even have versions for the common Delco 10Si internal regulated alts etc. Check them out!

Now if you want the car wired in a way other than the factory intended, then you are better off having someone rewire the car adding relays and fuses etc to handle more electrical requirements such as modern stereo stuff that weren't there originally.

Painless is easy, but will not look stock. If you want someone to do it call streetworks in Waukesha.
