We did a little back roads driving/offroading on Christmas and the day after, here's some of the pictures of the scenery. The first set was taken with my phone so the contrast kind of sucks, but scenic nonetheless!

Day after, the Wickenburg Mountains Trail:
Pictures don't really do the scenery justice, amazing where a nearly stock 4x4 can go! These were taken with my point and shoot, thus the better quality, enjoy.

Im into snakes, Rattlesnakes specificaly so AZ is a dream for me, more species in one local than anywhere in the world. Oh and I was heavy in jeeps so I could get lost there, nice PICs !

I've spent a week in wickenburg once...my wife spent 3 months out there. Cool town.

Yeah, don't think the compass could have made that climb...the wrangler, easily. But hell if I'd drive it all the way to AZ, lol.

The one car looks like a pontiac 6000, like an 86-88 type...that second car, wish I had a better look; could almost convince myself it is an old notchback 67-69 baracuda.

Sedona is gorgeous...loved flagstaff. From there it was grand canyon, vegas, utah, aspen, then back home...greatest road trip ever.

Yeah, the only other people we saw all day were at the beginning of the trail, that's why you gotta pack plenty of stuff.

We didn't see much for wildlife either days, short of the cows on ranching property and a hawk or two.

Both of those pictures are of the same car lol, I couldn't figure it out myself because the front and back were both buried. The climb wasn't bad as long as you have decent terrain tires, ground clearance and most of all patience. Stock wrangler on terrain tires would easily make it. The F150 is about as big of a vehicle you'd want to take on this trail, definitely a few clenching moments.
