I'm selling my Duck. Thinking of stepping it up to a 1098 this coming summer. I would love to just keep this one but i'm not made of money to just have spare Ducati's layin around :goof Lots of winter projects need finishing :) ALL the new parts have less than 1000 miles on them. Bike was stalling and losing power at random times....me and pops were stumped. Replaced damn near everything and ended up finding out the fuel pump was the root of the evil. So bike got alot of new parts it was going to need sooner or later anywho.

Pros:

-Runs GREAT!
-New rubber < 2000 miles front and rear (Pilot Powers)
-New Throttle Position Sensor
-New Crank Position Sensor
-Powder Coated black stock wheels
-New Fuel Pump
-Chipped
-New clutch slave cylinder
-New Chain < 1000miles
-Fast by Ferracci carbon slip on
-Misc carbon accs
-Adjustable foot pegs. (I'm 6'6" so....and these feel more comfy to everyone that has rode it regardless of height)

Cons:

-Salvage title (When bike was new I guess it was hit in the front and needed new forks and front end. Frame is perfect...everything was replaced that was hurt)
-Was gently dumped at low speed by previous owner, pics show boo boos on plastic. I touched it up with yellow paint. Even with a paint booth at my finger tips I just never bothered to fix it. Never bugged me.
-Needs a new battery, started to get weak at the end of the year. Junk one anywho.

Asking $3300 obo. If anyone wants to look at it or has more questions shoot me a PM :)

Pics are of the bike all dirty in a room with no lighting in that corner. Too cold to get fancy with it. Sowwie :durr

No Partial trades...I would need money to go along with my bike. Counter-productive to what im trying to accomplish :goof

Miles are the same as in pic 12,993.

Cool bike, not a bad price either! Not tring to be an ass but don't those need valve adjustments pretty often?

Top of my Ducati saved sites, guy puts it well :)

I have never owned one but dream about Ducks often, rather say im at home tuning my Ferrari than Im out riding my Toyota :) Kinda like the Fast and Furious movie when the two tards roll up on the yuppie in the Ferrari, dude just looks over and says FERRARI! Italian bikes just look so F-ing cool and sound awesome.

Not so much valve adjustments unless you are getting backfires and what not....Changing the belts is what people do alot.

Different for everyone. Some do every 2 years...some 2500miles....some 5000miles. All depends on the user. :)

I think there are a few sights around chicago. Did you also try Chicago craigs list? Not the best time of the year as you may know...

I posted on craigslist but im getting really fed up with it. Whenever I post anything to that site it never comes up in keyword searches????!!!! I type Ducati and get only certain listings. In order to find my ad you have to go to the moto section and scroll over a page to that day. Anyone know how to fix this? Edit: Actually I cant even find it listed in anything but my account section. GRRRRR

And thanks for the site suggestions :)

I started pleasuring myself on spankwire.com and finished on that thread. :goof I would buy it on friday if he would take 10 but thats all I can come up with. And its already a good buy at 13 so.... Lets just say if me and him were best friends 10gs would be in his pocket and he would have a 3k IOU lol

Edit: Ok I lied he would have 10g's a $1500 modified Kimber 1911 and an IOU for $1500 lol

Rode it today. Uncomfortable. Noisy. Weird. Very forgien to me, never really rode a sport bike before. Forgot I took the mirror off it, thought it fell off! Can't wait for spring to put some miles on this thing!!
