Love the winter prices, thumb thru and dream every night.

Then there are these: "just needs battery and a SPARK PLUG"
Ok sparky what exactly leads you to believe the plugs are bad...runs like azz?

Carbs rejetted, runs great....but needs plugs. So he is saying even with a battery it runs on possibly 3 cylinders :) Nice front end for a 78 BMW 90s!

I saw a 03 GSXR600 with 11k for $2995 on there, mint condition. Didn't look like a typical spam ad either.
Had to be the best winter deal I've seen.

carb'd nightmare srad. get a fi bike for sure if anything unless you really like tinkering with it like crazy to keep it running right

It's too bad though, that's the sexiest SRAD ever made. Looked like it was missing ram air ducts and stuff too. Plus it could have been an optional illusion but the forks look bent too. So sad...

I had carberation problems with my mid-late 90's kawasakis, my carbed 99 R6 gave me no issues over the 4-5 years i owned it though. I suppose some bikes are better than others. And yes, the off season prices make me sad since i want to sell my bike this spring, lol.

I'm pretty sure the srads had some sort of a throttle body fuel injection, and so did that r6. Hardly any issues with those at all. Those old srads were damn near bulletproof!

Well i'm glad you know my bike better than i do, i only operated the choke lever for 5 years, lol.

R1's got it in 2002, R6's in 2003.

Well la-dee da. Sorry to piss on your cheerios. I said I'm pretty sure. I was wrong on the SRADs too. They got fuel injection in 1997 not 1996.
I figured the Yamahas were slower to get fuel injection. They are slower in everything else, so why not there too.
FLAME ON!

Damn slow Yamahas....

My '02 Gsxr 1000 had a "choke" lever too, and that was fuel injected. All it was was a fast idle lever, but labeled a choke lever. Suzuki didn't get rid of the "choke" lever until 2003.

Lol. Anytime you would like to see how my WRX goes through the twisties, you let me know! ;)

And just cause I have a 'Busa, doesn't mean its stretched and slammed. I can still hold my own in the twisties. Several track days with the '02 1k and the '05 1k aren't hard to forget..
I'll have a track bike hopefully within the next year. I miss it. I was even thinking of the 748 that's for sale on here. Too bad its a salvage title..

The only thing is that selection is limited in winter. If you want a rare bike with low miles and a specific color, good luck.
