i can see them but i cant tell what they are. but i can get them to pop out like they should. think they arent big enough for my eyes to focus on the image that pops out.

Don't you have to lke cross your eyes just the right way to get the image?I think these are a different type...you're supposed to see beyond them until the image comes out. That's why they often say stare at one spot...then your eyes become tired/bored, and they lose focus, (ie diverge) and the image should appear beyond it...

I've always suck at these. The cross-eyed ones I think I can still do. Never able to let my focus go though...

Okay...I look stupid doing this, but we're all home, so who cares, right?

So, understand that this is my first time actually GETTING IT!

I stick my nose up to the image until I lose focus...once my eyes are out of focus, I just slowly back up until the image appears. The easiest one I saw was the middle one that carguy posted. Yes, this is the divergent type...so eyes losing focus is key.

Wow...after all these years, I finally got one, lol. THANKS SNOOP!

Carguys pics I can see the vase on a tray in the first one and the vase/urn on a table but I can't make out the whirlpool. I can see something there but just can't make out a definite image.

Finally saw the spring.

Okay I finally got them. Chris' trick worked. To put your face up to the monitor then slowly bring it backward while staring into the middle of the image.

I can see them all pretty easily. All you have to do is stare at the image and purposefully relax your eyes and lose focus. You will see the image start to appear.

I can see the ant...but I can't quite "pull" it completely out..as soon as I see the detail, my eyes focus and I lose it.

Must be from being a kid at the peak of the magic eye books' popularity, but I can see every one of them within a couple seconds. I just cross my eyes a little bit until it comes into focus. They work by having two images slightly offset and when your eyes shift to put them together it has a 3D effect.
