Chips ranging from $100 - $25,000 were stolen from a dude wearing a motorcycle helmet, then he took off on a sport bike.

WTF!? Chips?? You have to come back to cash them out, and you know they'll be questioning anyone trying to cash in a $25,000 chip! lol
The best thing to do is cash in all the smaller chips ($1000 and less) over time.

They say a similar heist happened earlier in December at the Suncoast casino, only the person got away with $20,000 cash.

Two ways he'll get his cash. One, if he knows a dirty high roller or if he could somehow play in a card tournament. I think he had things worked out for taking the chips instead of going for cash. You wouldn't get as much cash as he did with the chips. Maybe he's got someone on the inside. It seemed like he had that worked out to the T. Well so far until he gets caught. LOL!

He will try to sell the chips to the wromg person. Or someone will know him, via his bike or whatever evidence.

Plus the Belagio is not saying if thier chips have radio frequency devices in them....They just might.

Plus if they offer a big reward for info....

Alot of $ working against this guy.

Vegas is dirty....I bet there is a bounty out for this guy's head already. Never take casino money as its usually a mob/mafia's money. He probably will sell his chips to a dirty high roller like said above for half what he took. Still not bad, $1 mil

You are aware it is 2010 and not 1975? JK. Bellagio is part of MGM properties a publicly traded company. I agree he will get caught. Vegas is almost as bad as London when it comes to the number of camera's on you at any one time. Greed and stupidity is also more than likely working against him.

He'll be able to get rid of the small chips. But the casino knows exactly how many of the large chips are out there.

In the old days this would never occur. Wouldn't even occur if it was a Wynn casino (ask the guys who kidnapped his daughter years ago for ransom, wait you can't they were found buried in a garage floor of a new home). But now that it's large corporations, they just file an insurance claim.

Some, not all, of the high amount chips also have GPS chip in them. They just don't tell you which one.
