just wanted to know if anyone has any experience with the 92 i am looking at purchasing a new one from cabelas it is on sale for 550 and i have a hundred off a five hundred. this would be my first hand gun.

same as my issue M9. I like them, fun to shoot.
Kind of a large frame.
But that is how I end it, fun to shoot, would not (again) bet my life on it.
That said, I myself own a M9 (92FS gov issue edition). I have seen it in a stress fire course out last 4 glocks...

Love my 92FS... but conversely I feel it's a small grip actually. If I want to keep the best feeling grip on the gun, then i'm shooting off my 2nd knuckle instead of the first.

saw one last night at gander in kenosha for $379 looked like new but it was a used gun
