13.0 @ 111.3 MPH
0-60 in 4.6 Sec
60-0 in 117 FT
.89 Lateral Gs

Not bad for a 4260lb barge but a joke for a $45K muscle/sports car. I think these are a disgrace to the 1st gen cars. Oh wait they where fat, slow, and couldn't stop or turn either.

well, apparently the auto's are just quicker...insideline.com got a 12.6 @ 112.1 with theirs (http://www.insideline.com/dodge/challenger/2011/2011-dodge-challenger-srt8-392-full-test.html).

Easier to launch. Sticks are for road racing and having fun farting around. Autos are for drag racing and when you get tired of losing races because your stick set-up and your launch technique and shifting ability aren't perfect. Plus, the Motor Tend guys aren't exactly noted for their drag racing skills. I'd like to see what the 6M Chal could do with a set of drag radials and a guy like Evan Smith behind the wheel. At least before that 4200+lb tub spit out it's half-shafts... :wow
