This thing is insane. 1,359,000 Scoville units. 260 x hotter then a Jalapeno.

Now I have to see if I can buy some. lol

Yep. Which is surprising because people in the UK are not really fond of spicy food.

If ghost pepper is rated at over 1,000,000 Scoville units, how is this pepper 260x hotter?

can't remember where but i remember hearing that he was a member of a hot pepper enthusiast club across the pond. I can't imagine what that'd be like eating.... i think my limit lies with the scotch bonnet and some delicious jerk pork

That's what the article said. But I think they meant the Jalapeno now that I think about it. Thanks for catching that.

There's a video of a guy eating one on YouTube I was watching a couple of weeks ago, he throws up and sweats profusely, and this is a guy who supposedly eats crazy hot peppers all the time.

You must be joking.

We LOVE Indian and Thai food. At least my whole family does. In fact when my family moved here, we scoured the city for a good Indian place. :thumbsup

I watched some shit on food network and they were talking about how spicy food is not that popular over there. Just going off of what I saw. I'm sure there are plenty people who do.

Food Network needs to learn how to use Wikipedia...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_cuisine: In 2003, there were as many as 10,000 restaurants serving Indian cuisine in England and Wales alone.[28] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_cuisine#cite_note-27) According to Britain's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Kingdom) Food Standards Agency (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Food_Standards_Agency), the Indian food industry in the United Kingdom is worth £3.2 billion, accounts for two-thirds of all eating out, and serves about 2.5 million British customers every week.[29] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_cuisine#cite_note-28)

Anyway, back to the pepper talk. What, if any, dishes have actually been made with any of these insanely hot peppers?

There is a burger called the four horseman that uses the ghost pepper.
