Need a few things to be re-chromed. Local recommendations or places to avoid?

There is a place in Madison that does good work that I can't think of the name for the life of me at the moment. I should have the name and number somewhere. They also do anodizing and chrome plastics refinishing. There is a shop on the northside that has a booth at Jefferson and I have talked to them a few times about quotes for my bumpers and they seem reasonable. Maybe somebody here knows their name?? I can't find their card but will keep looking for ya

I'm glad I stumbled across this thread. I will need to get two drain covers chrome plated and I planned on using Badger Plating. I'll consider the other companies.
How much do you think it would cost to get 500 square inches hard chrome plated?

I use these guys and have been very happy. Just a small husband and wife team. Been doing plating for at least the 20 years I've been using them.

Does anyone know how much these companies would charge? What is the pricing on items?

Most all of them will want to see the part. They need to see what condition it's in and how much work it will take.
Update:
I called Custom Plating Specialist and they quoted me $40 for each of the parts I need plated. Each piece is about 250 square inches. Honestly, I was told to expect a much higher price.

I would be happy for that price if the quality is good, keep us updated.....
