Does anyone know where I could volunteer 20 hours before next wednesday? Looking to get some extra credit for school, willing to help over the weekend. Thanks :thumbsup

Great weekend for volunteer work, you can shovel out seniors or call any nursing home they are always short staffed

Eric took the words out of my mouth, help some nice 'older' people and get your credits......

Try a school. I am sure the kids would appreciate it

Hunger Task Force over near Hawley and I-94. They can always use people. We just went there as a work team and worked a day.

You can call the Salvation Army and volunteer to ring their bells and stand with a kettle to collect money for the Sally

Shoveling for elderly is great idea... every snow fall we always get a fair amount of chest pain calls.

X2 on a nursing home. On short notice, they're usually good ones to go to.

Thanks for the ideas guys, I tried the hunger task force but I would have to do an orientation and it woulnt be for another week. I would do the shoveling but it has to be a one location type of deal. Ill give the nursing home idea a try. Thanks :thumbsup

Heck, you could come shovel my driveway. I wouldn't put you through an orientation or make you wait a week.
