I'm sure everybody has asked for help at least once in their lives myself included. However, many reasons exist why a sensible person would be VERY hesitant to lend out a vehicle to a complete stranger......

I lent a car to a friend when I lived in Cali. Actually, he let me use his Suzuki 425 motorcycle while he was gone on the trip to LA. When he came back a week later, the car had a new paint job on it. Seems he helped out a relative who was starting a body shop and they painted my car. Did a great job on it.
