ballers stay ballers by living fiscally responsible, so saving $100 somewhere for the same product is smart :) (and I know you are just being funny :) )
i always figure the best buy's and walmart/sam's club will be the cheapest just based on purchasing power. never bought something that big through an online vendor

The 26" Westinghouse in my bedroom is two years old now, never an issue. And it's probably been on enough as a 4-5 year old TV for how much it gets used as my fiance loves to leave it on at night/sleeping.

I've been looking at TVs for the last week, expecting to pick one up on Friday. If you go with a name brand, it seems like they are priced about the same, no matter where you look. I found a few places where you can get black Friday prices online, without having to fight the crowds. I just ordered a 42" Hitachi LCD from Sams Club for 498. For $7.25, they will deliver to my house, so I'm sleeping in tomorrow.

I was doing a bit of review reading, and the general concensus from the reviews is that it has a very high failure rate, the audio sucks badly, the inputs/outputs like to fail, etc.
All of this tends to happen within the first 12 months of owning it....
Maybe I will just wait....

I got the 32 inch LCD from Walmart for $198. Emerson, only 720p, but it makes a good TV for the bedroom. Got there at 4:30, I was the 2nd to last person to get it. I was in Ladysmith, WI, and also got the $199 Xbox360 bundle after I got the TV, so I scored 2 doorbusters. Gotta love being up north away from everyone!

I went to walmart last night in Jefferson just for regular shopping after I finished work at 8, they had tons of tvs everywhere. Hundreds of the $5 blu-rays, and tons of the 198 tvs. They still had out old sale tags that ended on the 19th, someones gonna get fired.

newegg had a 47" lcd 1080p 120hz LG for only $599. I thought that was a pretty solid deal, but I am set (no pun intended) on tvs in my house.
