I'm a big fan of cheap snow tires. I use to drive the Mustang in the winter on cheap Winterfires. Any snow tire is lightyears better then the best all season.

Did you get new wheels to boot? Do you have a Tire Pressure measuring system? Carry that over to the new wheels if you got them?

Yes, new wheels and tires. The Modas were about $108/wheel and the Generals $110 each. Also, bought new TPMS sensors. Roughly $1000 shipped.

Yeah they're 17's. Look up their ratings on Tire Rack, General Altimax. They rate pretty good.

so you bought those rims for "winter" rims? or are those year round rims for it? if they are year round why not keep whatever old rims you had for "winter" rims to keep the others nice...im confused? lol...

Stock rims= Summer Tires
Winter rims= Winter Tires..

Plus my stock rims are 19's. I'd rather not buy snow tires for that rim size.
