i was playing with a guy who said he had a GTX470 and it was still lagging badly. In one server I played in, if you were caught running/sprinting you were warned and then banned. Such a stupid rule, but it actually helped the issue(not a computer guy so don't know how, haha)

You guys should post up your system specs so we can help. I've got an AMD Phenom 965 and a MSI 5850 OC and I have the game at 1920x1080 w/ 4x AA and zero lag issues. Also with the cards out today CPUs can be a bottle neck. My 5850 sucked when I had a AMD 250 X2.

I have a duo core 2.6, 4 gig ram and a 8800gt.

I've updated the video driver cleaned up the disk space and defragged. It still looks like buffalo chips but plays a little better. Graphics are the worst of any COD so far original MW looks way better.

When playing on a smaller server this moring and went 20 and 2. I was then accused of hacking and kicked from the server

Yes the graphics in this game are terrible and its not just your video card either. Mw2 had much better graphics. But the new stuff is making up for it. Nope there was very very very closed beta. Not public and not one you can just sign up for. And it was mostly for consoles they did beta testing on. If was PC we would have found all the problems.

They are already trying to patch it up. Working on fix right now.. Or so they say..

Common steam knowledge, deleting clientregistry.blob makes steam redownload the client settings, make sure you do it while steam isn't running. Usually fixes allot of the fucked up settings.

Personally I think it sucks donkey ass compared to MW2. Gameplay is slower, characters are cartoony as well as most of the levels e.g nuke town. I quit it today and went back to MW2. Some of the features are cool like the decoy device etc but otherwise to me it does not live up to the hype. No the graphics are not as good either.

Anyone else having problems with EXTREMELY high pings? What's weird is that is seems like the pings get better as I get farther away- I.E. I had pings of 1200+ for US servers and 650 or so for European.

I'm seeing pings well bellow 100? UK servers are usually 200 to 150 for me so they are still playable. I love getting kicked for hacking. :/ its so easy to camp a spot in this game and easily rack up 15 kills. Ah well.

I heard though that the two main guys as IW that made MW2 (that didn't get the royalties etc. or whatever) are trying to take IW to court and sue them for the rights to MW on the grounds that they designed it all. Hopefully they win and can start making the next game in the MW series a step up from MW2 like black ops was supposed to be.

Added, all the BCM guys we currently play with (cryptic, nan, british, crawlin, korndogg) use the team speak server I specified earlier. We don't use voice chat in game so thats really the only way to talk to us.

Trying to decide if I'm going to prestige or not. Made 50 a few hours ago.

Not clue was playing all sudden we all noticed my rank dropped.. I think was glitch because that last rocket launcher at 48 never unlocked when i passed 48 so i think why i got rolled back..

Came home tonight played 4 games from 49-50 now prestiged.

I have been using the Ak+crossbow. Very last Sub machine gun forget what its called.

Then Stoner69 with Anti Air

on sunday I was stuck at 47/48. It reset counters for challenges and experience. I probably won't prestige again.

i've been at 50 and haven't had any issues except for a perk thig not saving, but was easy enough to go back and do again. Pretty much have all of the important perks 1-3 worked up to PRO. some of the benefits are just bullshit.

Notes to anyone prestiging. Buy as many of the titles as you can afford. Those are something that stay with you. At least then ypull be spending unused cod points on something that will stay vs. Getting pissed away once you prestige. Also your player card stays with you after you prestige but you can't edit it until you reach a certain level so make sure you like it.

The Warlord Pro perk is pretty sweet... extra grenades and you get the extra attachment. Red dot and silencer FTW

All of them have advantages but some of them are kinda stupid.

I agree with what Nan says, Ghost and Ninja are must haves. The middle one be it Sleight or Warlord depends on what map and gun being used. Scout Pro if it's a map that you can snipe on(which is VERY few, if only one, and even at that, you don't need it to be "Pro" since it's just swapping weapons faster)

Hardline Pro is pretty cool in that you can change what the care package you drop is. But I don't see it replacing Ghost Pro since we play Hardcore servers only.

If it's a small map then I'll have second chance on instead of Ninja just so you can get revived and have longer duration of still being in second chance.

Marathon pro is pretty cool if you are playing sabotage or demolition, because it gives you unlimited sprint. Which usually only gets you killed faster in TDM

Pretty much all my kits (except for my "chopper stopper" kit) are Ghost/Warlord/Ninja

Ninja Pro = Completely silent and louder enemies

yeah ninja pro is pretty sweet so that you don't even make a sound when reloading

steady aim pro is cool, 50% faster aiming time except for sniper rifles essentially. sucks that one of your goals to complete is 150 hipfires. That took awhile

I have found my home on CTF and SAB. When that gets boring I'll go to Hardcore Tactical S&D. Since I've started playing CTF and SAB my KDR has significantly improved.

Then don't die :goof I like it because it makes your moves more meaningful, not just run and gun. You actually have to check corners, clear rooms, and be cautious instead of just diving into the enemy spawn and shooting.

After upgrading my computer it runs significantly better. The lag is still there for some people but I know it's not on my end. I'm getting great ping's and everything is schmooooooth.

It is pretty likely that you get plenty of good stuff each and every round, calling in tons of various packages. Hell I have even had 2 of the 3 change to Chopper Gunners lol. I feel a little dirty doing it but its awesome fun!

You can even change teammates packages, and even better the enemy's. I have even several times had the enemy not bother to pick up ammo and just leave it, and I am was to change it to something decent lol.

I still use Hardline Pro, but I don't drop packages anymore, they take time away from killing. I went from 15ish kills a game to mid 20's by NOT using any perk with a package. I now use Spy Plane (RCXD takes time away), Napalm, and Rolling Thunder. With the Spy Plane, both of the air strikes can be pretty effective, and not waste any time.
