That plant is only for the Phaeton? I don't see 15,000 dollar Jettas being made on a slow moving assembly line. Probably more like our factories, or Japan's, or Korea's.

I heard they're bringing it back to the US... So it can fail again. Neat factory, probably explains why the Phaeton is so expensive.

not saying if this is good or bad, but German worker pay due to unions/government/whatever is quite high, and adds a premium to German-built cars. They decrease their costs corporation-wide SOMEwhat by using Mexico and third world/low income places for SOME of their assembly/cars, but it the Corp as a whole STILL has to make profit, so...oh well.
