looking to get another fox, i've had every type but a notch, so that's what i'm looking for. this one seems unlikely it only has 70k miles on it, given the leaning seat/blow trans, but who knows. anyone know this car?? what do you think its worth??

possibly, i don't know for sure. i have no doubt that the car is not a 69k mile car---the seats just don't get 'tilted in' unless the guy weighs 300lbs, or the car's been beat on. i'll have a fresh 6speed and cobra IRS ready for any fox i buy. just looking for a fi notch, as that's really the only fox i haven't had yet.

older fox mustang seats are notorious for 'leaning in'. just not stock powered ones with only 69k miles on them. i just don't want to drive 45 minutes to look at something worth $2k if the guy is absolutely 'firm' on $3600. was just wondering if anyone's seen the car in person, or knew the owner.

I'm pretty sure that car was for sale on craigslist early this summer by the original owner. I called and talked to him about it and it sounded like a legit one owner/69k miles car, but it sounded like he pounded the crap out of it. It was in the "inner city" part of Milwaukee, I didn't have the guts to go down there and look at it alone, lol. Now that it's in West Bend I thought about checking it out, it is a good price for a notch even if it needs a trans rebuild and interior work.

I remember that notch. The guy wanted me to go to 25th and keefe to look at it. I don't care if it was free, I wasn't rolling over there. Not everyone on this forum is a toughguy. :stare
