not that weve had any troubles with the services they have provided, they jumped our bill up to nearly $200/mo. after talking it over with them, they only gave us a small discount on our phone service.

My father has TWC and has had few problems with them, I use the Box for football on sundays, otherwise I use my computer to watch everything and save a bunch of money.

Yeah I'm thinking about dumping TWC, my internet looses connection at 830, 930, 1030, 1130, 12am.
I'm not having a technician come out here because I'm not going to wait for the 2 hour window when I could be getting other shit done.

My buddy who works at a fire station is getting tired of it along with other firefighters... They each pay for TWC out of their own pocket along with the internet.

AT&T internet (whether DSL or Uverse) isn't the greatest thing ever because they always screw you on the speeds, but I must say its almost never down and customer service is pretty easy to deal with. Can't comment on the TV, though I think you can get DTV through AT&T as well as Uverse internet.

They don't screw you on speeds. Your boxes use bandwidth which takes away from the internet. I just got uverse 3 weeks ago. Not sure if I want to keep it yet or not.

You're not going to get a better timeframe with any other provider either...

get an appointment for the 8-8:30am timeframe... im sure you can handle a half hour timeframe.

Switched to Uverse last weekend. Install went great, service is awesome, and the picture quality is much better than TWC digital service. I still only have standard definition, but the picture looks outstanding! I swear TWC is downgrading there standard signal to save bandwidth.

Internet doesn't drop out randomly. Last time I called TWC for a technician, they told me there was no problem and they would not send a technician out.

I am glad I switched to Uverse.

i ment to PM some of you guys regarding Uverse, but it looks like my wife didnt feel like waiting. dont recall what plan we went with, but they are coming out on the 17th to hook us up... even decided to switch cell carriers for the added discount!

only thing im not looking forward to is resetting up the DVR to record our shows again and resetting up our wireless network.

That you will regret. AT&T cellular coverage is horrible.

Really? Maybe it's your phone?

I have yet to really have any issues at all with their cellular service.

Or are you talking about the 3g service?

I get better service (3g and cell) than most people I know with Verizon, and that's pretty much everywhere, not just in the city. They finally put in repeaters in the subway here in Chicago, so now Verizon users don't really have a signal better than mine anywhere I can think off. From personal experience I really haven't run into connection issues some people seem to complain about...

my ATT has good service most everywhere I go except the southwest corner of Wisconsin back in those hollers. Damned hillbillies! You get into those hollows between the ridges and you get nada with any phone provider unless you are hard wired.
