I took my car down to Gld this past Sunday and made a couple passes. It's been about a year and a half since I last ran...forgot how much fun it is!

Car is a 06' auto with a LS2.

First pass.

Off topic but...

Finally an announcer that Talks a bit and presents the car while running.... Dead air at the track can be a downer. Always thought it would be cool to speak of the guy/girl racing while in the burner box and year/make/model of car...

N/A.... bumped up the compression a bit. Runs made on 93 octane pump gas.

Sounds like it still murders the tires when you finally mat it after a sec!? Those LS2's are pretty bad ass and are not to be cast aside because of the LS3's Nice work Josh!

Actually it's floored off the line...car launches hard, falls on its face and then pulls really good. I have to figure out that part of the tune still since it only happens at the track when it hooks hard. I'm sure changing out the 2.56 gears would help, but would only be masking the issue.

tires are M/T 305 -18 drag radials

I have taken almost all torque management out the tables in Hp tuners I can find...I'm thinking its burst knock. Unfortunately I was unable to log these passes since my lap top battery is toast. I will have to do some test and tune launches to get it figured out.

Oh ya the whole front end actually drops down for a split second then it picks back up. I think right around :23-:24 in the first video.
