Instead of polishing my stockers im thinking of just getting a new set of these:

Problem is they say they use H1 and H7 bulbs. According to the sylvania website the car uses 9006/9005 bulbs from the factory. Question is I understand the bulbs are different but is the socket itself different as well? Or can I get a new set of bulbs and these headlights and everything is plug and play?
This is for a 96 passat.
