Looking for a place to works on porter cable tools. Hoping for a referral from someone that has experience with the shop not just a google listing.

dewalt factory service store on 43rd and mitchell. I have had a couple dewalt drills fixed by them. they do dewalt, porter cable and delta tools.

you can bring it to your local ace hardware and they will send it in for you. do you know if its going to be a warranty repair?

it should be a warranty repair the damm thing is a month and a half old! I found wisconsin power tool right here on mayfair rd but they wont be open till monday and most repairs are over a week. i will give dewalt service store a call in the am. thanks guys!

where did you buy it? at my Ace that I manage I always give the customer a new tool if it has been under a year, I worry about the warranty/credit side on my own time. I have always felt the customer shouldn't have to wait at all if possible. If it is something I stock, I will give you a new one for free as long as you can prove when you purchased it from my store. I would try that first, places are not looking for any reason to dump a customer, go in and bitch, I bet you walk out with a new unit.

Nues in the falls repairs all are crap they do a great job! I've had a dewalt, milwaukee, and some other crap. There prices are fair and the turn around is crazy fast.

lol nice Matt, I may have to look into getting pads for it . Anyways, thanks for the offers of loaners but the Dewalt service center is an authorized service center for porter cable and they said the symptoms sounded like an electrical issue so its a warranty fix. I needed a backup anyways so I bought a new one and should be here by monday/tuesday.
