Are there any around here besides Al's in franklin and the one on Hwy 18 in Sullivan that would probably have 99 and newer Jetta parts? Just looking for some interior stuff and I don't like going to the ones where they pull the stuff because I want to see it first and its usually cheaper.

I thought I heard that Al's wasn't even a u-pull anymore? I don't know any others in the area that are.

Might be worth a shot, do they have any old 60's 70's stuff too or just newer? If they have older stuff it would make the drive even more worth it. lol

Yeah Als in franklin still lets you walk around, just did it yesterday, but now they have a waiver you sign.

The one one Hwy A is actually Fredonia I think. It used to be called Auto parts and recycling I think then Kirchayn bought the yard.

I have not been out there in a good 8 years or so, but back the last time I was there, they had tons and tons of 50's 60's 70's and 80's stuff. Some of it was very well picked over though. Trees growing thru some of the stuff that had been there awhile.:rolf

I think I was there years ago, were all the old cars segregated by make and all in rows? That was the best organized yard for old stuff I had been to.

Yeah, well for the most part anyway. Last I remember they were starting to fill in some of the bigger gaps with various stuff.

Also I had a heard a rumor that the really old stuff that was picked over went to the crusher after Kirchayn bought the yard. But I have not been out there to see for myself

Hmm not looking good, the bare rows on the left used to have old cars there.

Al's had at least 1 exp and 1 f-150 in that range but didn't notice the door handle area

I check there all the time but any of the ones listed are way the hell away which isn't worth the drive for a $20-$40 dollar part.

Al's and the one down the street from Al's are the only two U-pulls I know around Milwaukee.

Edit: Now that I think of it, Al's let us walk in the yard but he said something about having to pull the part for us.
