A.I.R Pump, secondary injection crap mumbo jumbo.

Any tech tips or recommendations before I replace this easy fix? It caused me to fail emissions but I got it waived for the year here in NC. Should I just do it, or as I been seeing on most sites its a waste of time. I need to eventually pass emissions here if I want to get personalized plates, and I assume the ones bypassing it are decently modded, and my car is completely stock and is going to stay that way. Should I just down the $100+ price tag and be done with it, or are there ways around it and still pass emissions with flying colors. Thanks.

have the code pulled my air pump was turned off by tom and its all still hooked up. if i want i can pull the system out but for now its going to stay right there.
