I have a 85' GT with a 357W, T5Z, and a 31 Spline locker with 5lug conversion.
Want to make 375-400WHP. This is what I am thinking.
Airgap RMP Intake (have)
Patriot 185cc heads 58cc
Anderson N41 cam
1.6 RR
Mac 1 3/4 shorties..
Will this get me there ??

I would go with a single plane, more cam and either FAC190 TW or Victor Jrs., I like rowdy motors though. I would also stay far away from anything Patriot or AFR the valve train they come with is junk.

I make 420rwhp with less cubes, a hydraulic roller and AFR junk...(though I must admit I have Ferrea valves, Ti retainers, springs matched to the cam, etc)

Like Jesse said, go with a single plane intake and more cam. I would check those Patriot heads over with a fine tooth comb-twice. You didnt say anything about carb, and I feel you will need more exhaust.

I would use Jay Allen or Ed Curtis for a cam,. OTS it would be something like this

Very satisfied Ed Curtis customer here. I have heard quite a few horror stories about Camshaft Innovations' cams including 2 people I know personally. There are lots of people that don't like Ed, but not many complaints about the performance of his stuff. Lol, I even put up a thread on Corral once looking for guys that have complaints about the performance, one guy had a brother's cousin's uncles' life partner that was unhappy or some shit like that, but that was it.
