Me and my girlfriend are starting to cut down on our cars. Have to cut down to 2 dd's and one weekend car so the celica has to go.
This is my girlfriends Celica. It is the GT-S so it obviously comes with the gt-s package, rims, spoiler, sunroof, and a 6 speed transmission. It is midnight blue and has 133,000 miles. The motor is very stout and has 20 more hp than the celica GT because of the yamaha heads that redline at 8,000 rpm. Some info on it....
"People who habitually drive with those styles need look no further than the Celica GT. The GT-S works well at those engine speeds, too, but it really needs to be revved to reveal its full potential. Don't be afraid, hit the afterburner, and the GT-S engine is at its best from 6000 rpm to its 7800 rpm redline or 8400 rpm fuel cutoff. The trick Yamaha-developed cylinder head has separate low- and high-rpm cam lobes for variable valve lift and timing and it also rotates the intake cam (``degrees'' it, in tuner parlance) to further optimize performance. The result is very useable low- and mid-rpm performance for most everyday driving and a spectacularly enthusiastic high-end power surge. Because the engine is operating at relatively low speeds in 6th gear on the highway, fuel economy is very good. I got 25 mpg in mixed highway, town, and enthusiast use. The 6-speed manual gearbox has well-spaced ratios and smooth shift linkage."
The car comes with newer tires, belts, clutch, and a fresh oil change. The car runs and drives great. My girlfriend never beat on this car, has been used as a point A to B daily driver. It has leather seats, no rips or tears. AC and heat work. Cd player.
As far as the bad, there isint much to put on this column..mostly cosmetic. The front bumper and hood has some rock chips and the rear bumper has a large scuff. The car has never been in an accident, clean title. No dents or anything like that.
Price is set at $5,000. Pictures coming soon.:banana1:
