A buddy at work has a 03 honda Odsey mini van and when sears replaced the battery they locked the radio. Honda claims that the code is in the back of the radio is this true? Is there a master code to reset it, that we don't need to pull the radio? Thanks

Look in the manual if its still there, usually just a little card with it on there.

Check for a sticker somewhere on the glove box. Seen them there a lot. Otherwise it might be in the owners manual.

Make sure the key is off and radio off.Hold the 1 and 6 buttons in at the same time, turn the key on and while still holding the buttons turn radio on,a 3 or 4 digits will appear then another 3 or 4 digits will appear, wright them down and pm them to me i will look it up.I work at a Honda dealer.Or
you can look for a sticker taped inside the glove box,or some dealers would put it on the rear tailgate hatch strut or on a door jamb it will either have the radio code,or the serial number for the radio that you need to get the code.

I had to change a battery in our pilot, and did this above, call and give vin number!
