I'm huge Halloween person. www.hauntedwisconsin.com site i use every year

Burial Chamber is Huge said to be the best always hear about it. 2 indoor 1 outdoor and 1 simulator(buried a alive) Bit of drive but Im heading out there on the 15th.

bears den is a good one also. Its all outside in some woods. They pick you up in a hearse and drop you off in the woods. Favorite to go to yearly. Sometimes even more then once.

This one i went to few years ago. Was really good and had bit of length to it. Walked threw some trails then entered the house for more spooks. Pretty good last time i went.

http://www.hauntfest.com/ At state fair is hit or miss really its good for hey lets to to one quick.

http://marshauntedhouse.com/MarsHauntedHouse/index.html I always hear is good. Hope to make it this year.

The corn maze out in westbend. I hear this year sucked. Already have few people who went. And Said way to many staged props not enough live actors

http://thedarksidehaunt.com/ Seems like it could be a rather good one also. Hope to hit this year.

Also have few random ones that i hit up depending who is going and such.

How does it compare to the old one? I know they moved. ( In the old building i think it sucked have not gone to new location) walked into room got the scare walked threw narrow hallway and repeat for about 14rooms.

splatterhaus and burial chamber have both been very consistently the best we go to.

Avoid terror on the fox...its sounds awesome....but never delivers which is a shame because it could be really really good with the way it is set up.

Surprisingly the waukesha county fairgrounds has a decent one as well.

Heard good things about mars as well but dunno since haven't been.

hubertus house was kind of a joke and we almost got kicked out when we went 2 yrs ago :rolf

I'm huge Halloween person. www.hauntedwisconsin.com (http://www.hauntedwisconsin.com) site i use every year.

My girlfriend is one of the people that goes around and checks out all the haunted houses for that site. Free admission ftw! She has been doing this a few years now.

We're going Friday to check out the Haunted Barn or something like that.

I forgot the name of it but the one in Sheboygan is pretty good and the Burial Chamber is good too. The one in Janesville SUCKED last year, would not go back. They say it's the best one in Janesville... well it's the ONLY one in Janesville so...

for being family run bears den is pretty good although i tend to scare the actors more then they get me as im always up front in our group, i got offered a job at bears den years back. it is a nice one to go to and not to scary if you got a girl thats not up on haunted houses.
Splatter Haus has never let me down been goin there for like 5 years and even when they moved it just got better, and they weren't even using the full warehouse last year...
if you really wanna get scared go walk through the woods across from my house at night nature will freak anyone out that doesn't know what they are hearing lol

I didn't go last year but I did go the year before which was the first year in the new warehouse that they are in. It was pretty good and it was fairly long as well. I'm not sure if they change it every year being I didn't go last year but I'm sure they do. It's still in the same warehouse so it should be still be a good time.

Lol being in front is the best cause you always see everyone first cause 99% time they go for people in the middle lol. So you get to just laugh lol.

Seems like might have to make a run to splatter Haus this year then.

Used to be a huge Halloween person but now that my life revolves around it not so much any more. I always did like mars for one that isnt a drive to get to.

^^^^ Yeah, what he said. Sounds like there a couple of people who have been to numerous ones.

there are two must goes imo in this order

Burial Chamber
Splatterhaus

Burial chamber's burial simulator can be creepy but still fun (if you've done it u know what I mean) its at the end of the two indoor houses. It has alot of variety to three different haunts. If you go and the lines are long...pay the extra for VIP and listen as everyone bitches in line as you walk right up to the front lmao.

Splatterhaus has alot of different stuff all in one place... I still can remember the first time at the new place and having a wall with spikes come charging at us with nowhere to go...good times

as for a third....its kind of a toss up for me...they rest all seem about average we've been to. I'm hoping mars is good enough to mark as 3

Monstr913

yea the wall of spikes was tripping me out until i was close enough to figure it out...plus being in the front and being able to figure out haunted housed you can lead your group to where the guy is gonna come from.

burial chamber
splatter haus
waukesha expo

as stated terror on the fox sounds great but very under staffed and has mad potential to be one of the top places

CarrotTop

Ill go with what everyone is saying for the 1st two.

Burial Chamber
Splatter haus
3rd?

I found the Waukesha expo to be good. But it didn't have enough live actors when i went last year and they just rush you threw it all the time so you always catch up to group in front of you or a group in back you catches up. So then just one giant line and you see where all the actors are.

Bears den is personal favorite heading there tonight.

Seems like this thread died early this month.
Any updated ratings?

We plan on hitting Bear Den Woods then trekking over the the Feargrounds (Waukesha Expo) tonight.

The Haunted Forest in Deerfield SUCKED. Not only did we wait in 3 lines for 2-1/2 hours but it was short and the actors sucked, there was only 1 good scene in the whole thing.

First we waited in line 45 mins to get tickets.
Then we waited an HOUR AND A HALF in line to get on the hayride to the haunt.
After the hayride was ANOTHER half hour line to get from the hayride to the haunt.
By the time we were in, we were ready to just go home, and it wasn't even good on top of it. They were sending the groups too close together, we kept running into the actors getting "set up" and the group behind us complained of the same thing.

The haunted barn in Stoughton was much better.
