Was looking to see how true my SS was besides the WU8 and Y2Y RPO codes. Found this pretty darn interesting! The guy that had my 01' SS didn't change anything besides the regs! Cool.

If you have a Y2Y RPO, then it means it was an SLP "second sticker" car and had SLP add ons like wheels or exhaust etc done by SLP. Those of course will not show up in the RPO list from GM.

Yep, I just found out that my Camaro is the only one of its kind with my options. Typical and not that impressive but kinda cool.

I don't, thats just what people kept telling me to look for, WU8 and Y2Y RPO codes. I called SLP as soon as I got the car last year, and they verified the build number with my VIN, but couldn't tell me anything more. I always wondered if some actually ordered my car with the ugly tan/black interior and tan convertible top.... they did.

Cool site. I gotta agree though something is off with the counts. If it was right on, this Blazer I am looking at that is a bone stock dark blue LS 4x4 is 1 of 57 built....I call BS...:rolf

Site or no site I can assure you that mine very well could be one of a kind. They only made 1037 Formula Convertibles in 95 and of that only 365 had a 6-speed. 42 were silver and only 17 had the reclining cloth driver seat. So out of that Id say that mine is super rare

Its all ok, I never really cared that much. I just thought it meant no other car was like mine, as in the next 2001 SS Vert looks just like mine down to the "t", but he has black carpet and I have tan... Simple things you couldn't even tell.
