Our collections manager called me and asked if I would come out and check out a repo that we just took in. What I found is below...

That looks like one of those hydrogen burner things that people were scamming with on ebay a few years ago.

I don't think it's a catch can. I think it's a home made hydrogen burning kit or something.

No matter what it is - it's a hack job!

Should be able to sell it for 1-2 grand more. Advertise it with advanced fuel saving technology that makes it capable of getting 50mpg or so....but don't forget to note "individual results may vary..." so no one can get made when they don't get that kind of mileage...

I normally come across a person who is big into the "H-H-O." Their sales phrase is "it optimizes fuel burn." I told the guy that I have yet to see a proper scientific study that demonstrates the technology working.

He said I was "brainwashed by the oil companies."

Anyway, be careful with that. The HHO tanks have a reputation for exploding. That same guy I know has already replaced the hood on his car twice.

Somewhere under the hood you might find a flux capacitor. That where the real moneys at.

Regardless of what it is, no one has mentioned the use of wiring nuts on a car yet.
