Friends Prelude stolen, found on southside

My friends Prelude was stolen on the east side Saturday morning. It was taken between 3:45 am and 1:30 pm from Newport & Bartlett.

It was found today, Tuesday morning in an alley blocking a guy out of his garage on the south side, 8 blocks from the city tow lot. He has to pay $105 for the tow from the alley, to the tow lot. So far we know the engine's gone, and the wheel/tires are there.

What are his options to tow it out of the city lot? If he decides to scrap it, which salvage yard would give him the most money?

What year prelude? As far as towing it has to be towed by an actual tow company, can't just show up with a car trailer and expect to get it out of there. I might be interested in buying it depending on the year/price. Scrap price is prolly $250-$300.

Either way, glad he got the car back, sucks it's not in one piece. Civics/Integras/Preludes are a serious target for thieves nowadays though.

I'm getting sick of seeing some many imports get stolen, my civic was stolen from the eastside of madison on Aug 23, probably the one cletus is referring to, and my bros from Franklin on Aug 10. Neither cars have been found...

the H22 is an actual Honda motor, used in the Prelude and a common swap into Accords, civic's and Integra's
