lol...it more just surprised me. I tried to get a picture of it before I shooed it off the door but my wife opened the door and just about screamed and then slammed the door. Luckily I was able to snap a picture.

I've figured out that it is not poisonous....I'm just being cautious because my neighbor found a black widow and some other nasty spider outside her house. I don't need my son playing with that....lol

theres about 6 or so big ass brownish spiders that are outside of my door that live behind the siding. They always come out at this time of year and make huge webs. They just made webs this last week. I like pissing them off because instead of running away right away, they actually try to fight a little. My parents have them live in their siding at this time of year also.

that cannot be fun in the slightest...

i know of a few rx7 guys down in NC... on the forums we hear stories all the time of pulling their car out of storage and being infested with black widows. :wow

Shit that's nothing. These are what we had in korea along with brown recluse (SP). This is obviously a fully grown one which I didn't see many of.

These fucking things are EVERYWHERE. I mean you can't look at a telephone pole without seeing them. Trees, bushes, etc.. covered in web.

holy shit... I'd smash that with a bat.... then run off like a little girl. You dont see too many creppy spiders around here in the city, but I do have some big fat ones my my shop....they eat the skeeters....

Weird.. I had the same thing on my door.. which oddly enough is red also.. but mine wasn't a spider.. It only had 4 legs.. Soo, no idea what it was.
