I want to take my wife out tomorrow to eat, but am getting sick of places that fall into the applebee's/chili's etc mold. The only think I really care about is being able to get food and probably a few drinks for no more then $50, and prefrebably not to far away from the milwaukee area. When it comes to food type I really don't care so post them all. Thanks

I guess that's one thing I should add. No seafood places. I LOVE seafood but my wife not so much. I'm trying to get her to try it more, but she just won't.

Milwaukee Ale House, Ryan Braun's new place is supposed to be good, Bucas, plenty of good choices. Good to get out of the chain restaurant rut if you can

It's funny that more than half the recommendations are CHAINS.

Mama Mia's in White Allis has good Italian food. The one on Bluemound in Brookfield isn't as good but is still better than the chain Italian food.

Me and the wife are always looking for new place to eat, We should get a list of places to try and make it a sticky? That way we could make suggestions and maybe even have meets once in awhile, just a thought?
BTW Tried Chili lilies the other day, not bad plan on going back to try a few more chillies.

La Chimenea in Germantown off of pilgrim and county line. We've been there probably 10 times in the last few years and never had a bad experience. Great quality and the price isn't bad either.
