Any Toyota and Honda Mechanics in here?

I have a co-worker that needs general maintenance done to his 03' Toyota Matrix XRS and 01' Honda Civic EX. He mentioned general maintenance and a timing belt on the Civic and general stuff done on the Toyota. He asked me if there were any mechanics that do it on the side, because dealership costs are unobtainable with their financial status. Let me know either here or pm with your info and if you would be willing to work on either or both.

timing belt/water pump on honda is going to be $850 no matter where you go. I got quotes from acura dealer and side jobs both were the same. Only reason I had Acura do it was a brand new RL to drive for 2 days:drool:

850 seems high to do it on the side. Coop can get me Toyota parts and can do for under 1/2 of that 850.

Agreed. I can do just about any timing belt water for in the range of half of that as well. Contact me if interested and I will price out the parts.

he said the Honda Jim,The Toyota has no timing belt its a chain.and if it needs a chain good luck it needs a motor then its a interference motor.
