Anyone here have access either to the auction or to the list of vehicles up for auction? Never bought at auction before and thought it may be a way to get a good deal on a used car? Looking for a newer large SUV. NOT a GMC!!:fire Infinity QX56, Nissan Armada, Expedition EL,............

2005 Honda Odyssey EL-X going to be replaced if anyone is interested in a used mini-van.

You have to be a registered dealer with license in hand to buy there or get in. If you want to buy something there, I assume you mean the one in Raymond, you'll have to get a dealer to buy for you.
I've seen cars go cheap there though, and I've seen them go for too much also. Just depends on the day.

As of late prices are up.

And that being a Manheim Auction means that you'll be escorted out by the police if you try to get in not being a dealer. That's if you make it past the front gate... lol

The other thing about cars running through the auction is that there's no reconditioning done (on most) or lot rot (they sat on the dealers lot too long). Most will need work done, and the really nice stuff will command money.

X's a billion

There are usually reasons WHY a newer car is being run through an auction and not being kept on that dealer's lot.

If you want to avoid that, well then you'll be looking at the lanes that are all the rentals, and they 90% of the time won't have what you are looking for.

And if what Joe said is right, you'll be paying the same for one going through auction as you would for one that's been on the dealer's lot for the past 30 days
