How big and how deep are you drilling?

I have a milwaukee hammer drill that works pretty good, but it's not one of those big ones like they rent at HD. I'd call it more of a medium duty drill.

You can use it if you think it'll work for you.
I'm near 124th and North.

3/8" diameter x maybe 6" deep, old original floor footing.
Will be driving in 1/2 rebar (BFH) with epoxy to capture, tying in new poor.

Basicaly cut out garage floor less a foot on each side, cut/removed old.

Now that you mention it, if HD rents big azz units the $40 might be worth the less time it takes to punch the wholes....will research now while still drunk.

okay, let me know if you need it.

How in the hell are you gonna pound 1/2" rebar into 3/8" holes?
That's gonna be a challenge.

I have a largeer Milwaukee electric but it's not cordless. I use it to anchor communications shelters using 3/4" . goes through concrete like butter. You might have to stop at LCS off 111th & greenfield to get the correct bit size. (cheaper than Menards or Home depot) I live off 116th & Greenfield

Should one even be looking at huge power tools while drunk.
"Honey, why is there a skip loader in the living room?"

Word on the streets is a Hilti is enroute!

A 3/8" hole from a msonary bit ends up being 7/16" after a few inch's, 1/2" bar and a steel 12# mallot goes in tight, like an 8 penny nail it has to be struck strait. Tying floating slabs is important up here, frost will quickly crack shifting concrete. Im gonna epoxy the holes as well before driving the bar in, I'll get pics in the home section next week.
