How many newer full size GMC/Chevy trucks and SUV's have one of the two front parking lights out?

I've noticed this ALOT for quite awhile now, when driving around during the day I can see 3-4 at least, different vehicles. I haven't noticed a certain side to it, no rhyme or reason.

Its not a big deal ;) but just very annoying....must be a factory defect somehow? I think up to 15-20% of the newer ones are like this.

Oh yeah. My buddy pointed that out to me about a year ago. Never found out why this is.

You mean the white lights? When you take the bulbs out to replace them, the sockets are usually black like they got real hot, almost melts the plastic socket. I have no idea why. We have 6 or 7 Yukon XLs at work and most of them have the problem. Replaced a few, but got sick of ordering bulbs.

We see it all the time, most of the time its the left side :confused . They sell a heavy duty bulb for them now, thats what we put in, no idea if they last any longer though.....

The most annoying thing that I've noticed is the sheer amount of people that don't know their friggin' BRIGHTS are on. :fire :fire don't people see that bright blue indicator light on in the dash?!?!? :guns1
