I think there is no warranty on the 624 kit.

I think there is no warranty on the 624 kit.

it says that you can retain your warranty as long as its dealer installed

read the fine print.

The 525 kit gets the warranty the 624 does not. Essentially you can retain your warranty if you buy the 525 kit and have the dealer install. At least that is what it looks like.

Great find Andy... the new 5.0 seems to be awfully impressive for what they deliver for the $$! :thumbsup:thumbsup But yea I gotta imagine this will take away some sales from the GT500?!

Power-wise this would be just the ticket I was looking for... if it just wasn't in the mustang chassis :( But I gotta admit it makes me think about it.

Saw this at Mustang Alley @ Woodward this year, was wondering when they were going to release the "official story" as I didn't have internet access while I was out there.

The literature they had around the Focus RS also made it sound like they were going to start making them available in the US, but they wouldn't "officially comment".

Isn't the new Focus RS FWD anyways?

The GT 500 is still a much more desirable car. Not to mention I have a feeling there are big changes in store for the Shelby!

They had limited information on it, but yes, I think it's a FWD platform. I know it's 305HP would be a blast to drive regardless. I mean I owned an SRT-4, I am not adverse to having a high HP FWD car:rolf

I owned one just as you did. High horse FWD sucks. IMHO the Focus RS seems to be more hype than anything. Based on how bad ass (for the time) the original one was.

In anycase I digress.. again Kudos to Ford on this kit. Amazing to think for ~37500 (MSRP pricing) you could have a new Mustang GT with 624hp! :wow

No, I just like them. If I was to buy a new Ford, it wouldn't have spark plugs!
