Fast 5 (Fast And Furious 5) slightly interesting.

Supposedly set in Brazil, and from the set pics this is what I gather so far thats pretty interesting:

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is going to be in the movie as a badass cop most likely, kinda cool. All the important cast members from 2 and 4 are back, (or whatever it means in Hans case since he's dead by 3, which is all set after all this..)

Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris from 2, Don Omar and Tego Calderon from 4 look to be reprising thier roles. I'm quite impressed witht the line up, but curious to see who is the actual "Fast" 5. Most likey Walker,Diesel,Gibson,Kang,Ludacris, with the Don and Tego as comical sidekicks. Oh, and Jordana Brewster's character is prego... soooooo... F&F 9?10? Ouch...

Hope it doesn't suck with this much, or decently thought of star power for this type of movie. NOOOOOSSS. :headbang

And remember, both Braga and Verone were both sent to prison. Two potential revenge seekers easily inserted in the story since it seems jailbreaking is so simple you would think a druglord could pull it off. :thumbsup

oh yea, hot brazil female lead cop chick? Nice.

That the crackhead dude from The Wire all the way at left in the first pic? Sorry I don't know all the F&F characters by name, most of the movies are pretty bad. The latest movie was awful, hopefully they make at least ONE good one before they kill the franchise if they ever do (i.e. SAW 10,11 or whatever the fuck they are up to by now.)

I will goto the theater for this I have also heard the new Faster movie with the rock leads into this movie but have not seen faster to verify this claim, how bout that dude getting the shotgun stock to the face!!!

I totally disagree. If they kept making them about stupid street racing then it would get old very fast. I love action movies with cars chase seens and from the preview it looks like a good movie. I never go and pay the crazy prices when the movies first come out unless forced by a female. Haha. This one I will probably spend the high price and see it when it comes out in the theater. It has a great cast of actors. I think it will be the best one yet. At least The Rocks not playing a Tooth Fairy! LOL I really thought his acting career was done after that movie and the other one where he played a football player who met his daughter for the first time. So bad!

Just seen the trailer myself. I really hope The Rock and Vin Diesel have a fight scene. If they do it right, that alone will be worth seeing. Paying attention to the ones ol Vinny was in, he never gets his ass kicked, so if anyone should hand it to him it should be Dwayne, haha

Take the name away and it's a cool, over the top action movie with outrageous chase scenes. That's exactly my kind of movie.
